Echeveria setosa v. minor

Echeveria setosa v. minor is a specific form of the Mexican Echeveria setosa. It is an evergreen.

E. setosa grows in semi-desert areas and is still common in the area Puebla.

It is not winter hardy and needs a minimum temperature of 7 degrees in winter.

In summer it can be grown outside in temperate areas.

It needs a good light and indoors a south facing window is ideal.

It needs good drainage, and generally minimal water in winter, with more water in summer.

E. setosa flowers in spring with unbranched inflorescences
